WHAT IS CAMP SHO-M-SEL-M?
It is a program for the exhibiting company as well as the individual exhibitor.
Whether you know nothing or think you know everything. Whether you are a start-up, an old family business, a Fortune 500 - or anywhere in between. No matter your industry or market niche - Camp will explain what a trade show is, how to evaluate it in marketing and sales and how to succeed.
Camp is pronounced Camp Show-‘Em-Sell-‘Em. In 2007, each Camp is a 2-day program open to the business public worldwide. Camp is held in a location near a major US or Canadian airport.
Day 1 is important to learning about all aspects of trade shows – basically marketing, sales and logistics. Day 2 is a special Behind-the-Scenes with focus on one segment important to your trade show program.
WHAT is DAY 1?
Trade Show Training, inc. has determined there are three basic components to every trade show. Promotion = Marketing. Presentation = Sales. Logistics = the Details. The more you understand and have coordination among all three parts, the more successful your event will be.
This is a day of learning about what is incorporated in a trade show and the psychology of the trade show environment. Lots of practical information.
Plus you
participate in Arts & Crafts, Orienteering and other Camp-y activities.
WHAT is DAY 2?
This is a special Behind-the-Scenes program and you can only get it through Camp Sho-M-Sel-M. Our clients have asked questions too detailed to answer in the general Camp sessions. We picked the best topics. We added a day to explore the trends, details and best practices to help you. We are asking a number of national and international associations and corporations to assist TSTi in bringing you the best information. This is not sales, but providing you information from the experts.
CAN I GO TO MORE THAN ONE CAMP?
WHAT IF I WANT TO GO TO ANOTHER DAY 2?
Yes. Once a Camper – Always a Camper. You must attend a 2-Day Camp program to qualify. Then, you may attend any DAY 2 Behind-the-Scene program as long as there is room for you – new Campers get priority. Cost is $495.00 per person for each DAY 2.
Note – DAY 1 as a separate program is not available except as an in-house corporate program, or as a sponsored program by a Chamber of Commerce or a trade association or group.
HOW MUCH IS CAMP?
For 2007, Camp Sho-M-Sel-M is $795.00 per person. That includes --
- Registration and all Camp materials.
- (2) Breakfast and (2) Lunch. Dinner on your own.
- Special Camp events, goodies, surprises and certificate.
- Transportation between designated hotel and Day 2 venue.
- Designated Hotel at a confirmed rate for Campers.
Note – TSTi aims for designated hotels that provide the most requested services by our Campers – airport shuttle, in-room and wireless Internet, cable TV, fitness center or other amenities
